About this page

I study the settlement characteristics of peat. My most recent findings were published in Géotechnique and received the Geotechnical Research Medal 2026. This page brings together the knowledge from my thesis, leading to this publication.

About me

I completed my PhD in the English program at Hokkaido University in 2026. My supervisor was Satoshi Nishimura.

I am currently an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Science Tokyo, working with Professor Akihiro Takahashi and Associate Professor Mai Sawada. I am excited to explore traditional research activities at Science Tokyo, including physical modelling, and also to build new connections.
